Tallow is a rendered form of beef fat and is primarily made up of triglycerides. At Andi, our beef tallow is pure, with impurities removed and vacuum-packed in block form for easy use. This beef fat is an excellent cooking ingredient to replace vegetable oil for frying, stir-frying, roasting, and grilling due to its high smoke point of 420°F (approximately 216°C) and its stability during storage. Beef tallow has a shelf life of 12-18 months when refrigerated and over 2 years when frozen. At room temperature, its shelf life is up to 12 months.
